Postings Guidelines

Google My Business

  • Post once per week
  • Posts should be around 150 words
  • An image is very important for GMB and must be at least 400 pixels wide and 300 pixels tall
  • Multiple images should be added to each post
  • Include a button with a link to website 100% of the time

Facebook

  • Post once per week on feed
  • Post 2 FB stories per week
  • 2-4 sentences
  • Include link to website 90% of the time
  • Add image if it doesn’t pull from the link
  • Add organic videos and post with a caption (do not re-post your YouTube videos to Facebook)
  • Only cross share one to IG per week
  • Create different content for Facebook and Instagram

Twitter

  • Post once per week
  • 280 character limit
  • Include 3 hashtags
  • Include link to website 80% of the time
  • Add image to 70% of posts

Instagram

  • Post once per week on feed
  • Include 2-3 sentences in the caption with hashtags
  • Post 3-4 stories per day
  • One interactive story per week
  • Include up to 10 hashtags with three geographical related, 3 custom and 3 about the post
  • The image is the most important part of an Instagram post
  • To increase followers- follow others; like 3 Posts and they will follow you.
  • Before and After Photos work really well for the Aesthetics Industry
  • High Contrast posts do better (ie Light colors do better than Dark and Warmer tones do better than Cool tones)
  • Use Instagram for short sneak peek videos from your website where they can find the full length YouTube videos embedded on your website

Personal LinkedIn Page

  • Post once per week
  • 2-3 sentences
  • Include link to website 100% of the time
  • Add image if it doesn’t pull from the link

LinkedIn Company Page

  • Post twice per month
  • 1-2 sentences
  • Include link to website 100% of the time
  • Add image if it doesn’t pull from the link

Pinterest

  • Pin 20 pins per month
  • Post twice per month
  • 1-2 sentences
  • Include link to website 100% of the time
  • Add image
  • Pin blogs, images and BA’s

YouTube

  • Each video should be about 1-3 minutes in length
  • Write long, detailed descriptions for each video, include a citation and call-to-action.
  • Add 10 keywords tags to each video
  • Embed video on your website and share videos on social media
